Bacon Wrapped Conecuh
Ingredients
1 pound conecuh sausage cut into approximately 1″ pieces
1 pound Bacon
1 cup Brown Sugar
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil.
Cut the bacon strips in pieces that will wrap around the sausage with a little overlap.
Lay them on the baking sheet. It’s OK if they touch or are crammed in there nice and tight.
Sprinkle brown sugar over the top of the bacon wrapped conecuh.
Bake for 45-50 minutes. Until bacon is done & crispy.
Arrange on a serving tray and drizzle the brown sugar mixture (from the bottom of the baking dishes) on top of the bacon wrapped conecuh.
Serve warm or room, temperature.
